This SAE Information Report is applicable to all engine cooling systems used in heavy-duty vehicles and industrial applications.

The purpose of this document is to list the requirements which are in general use for filling, deaeration, and drawdown of engine cooling systems for heavy-duty and industrial applications. The material presented in this document is for information purposes only, and does not constitute an SAE Standard.
