This specification covers a synthetic rubber in the form of sheet, strip, tubing, extrusions, and molded shapes. This product has been typically used for gasket-type seals in contact with hot, petroleum-base lubricating oils where a space-filling seal operating from -40 degrees to +212 degrees F (-40 degrees to +100 degrees C) is required, but usage is not limited to such applications.
