This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) sets forth criteria for the installation, inflation, inspection, maintenance and removal of aircraft tires as well as criteria for the maintenance of the operation environment so as to achieve the purpose stated.

This document sets forth the minimum recommended care and maintenance responsibilities of the operators and the airport authorities to assure the safety of support personnel and the safe operation of aircraft.
