The lift capacity can be determined by Section 4 and/or Section 5. When the results are recorded, the test method shall be identified.

The purpose of this SAE Standard is to establish test procedures for measuring and recording lift capacity referred to in SAE J715 (Reference International Standard ISO 789/II).
