This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of investment castings having four grades of permissible discontinuities.

These castings have been used typically for parts of intricate design requiring a combination of good strength-to-weight ratio, creep and fatigue properties, and corrosion resistance up to 750 \mDF (399 \mDC), but usage is not limited to such applications.
