This specification covers a heat-resistant iron-alloy in the form of bars, wire, forgings, flash welded rings, and stock for forging or flash welded rings.

These products have been used typically for low-stressed parts requiring oxidation up to 2100 \mDF (1149 \mDC), particularly where such parts may require welding during fabrication, but usage is not limited to such applications.
