This specification has been declared "CANCELLED" by the Aerospace Materials Division, SAE, as of March 2011 and has been superseded by AS 83461/1. The requirements of the latest issue of AS 83461/2 shall be fulfilled whenever reference is made to the cancelled AMS-P-83461/2. By this action, this document shall remain listed in the numercial section of the Index of Aerospace Material Specifications, noting that it has been superseded by AS 83461/1.
