This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of plate.

This plate has been used typically for parts requiring higher tensile strength than SAE AMS 4203 (7010-T7351) and good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, exfoliation corrosion, and fracture toughness, but usage is not limited to such applications.
