This specification covers a low-outgassing silicone (PVMQ) rubber compound in the form of molded rings. Primarily for use in interplanetary space and other hard vacuums from -75 degrees to +150 degrees C (-103 degrees to +302 degrees F), with a minimum of condensable outgassing products. While within the earth's atmosphere, the silicone rubber compound is resistant to deterioration by ozone, smog, and weathering
