This SAE Recommended Practice is applicable to snowmobiles as defined in SAE J33.

To provide minimum requirements and tests for evaluating the structural integrity of snowmobile drive mechanisms (that is, drive pulleys, driven pulleys, torque convertors, centrifugal clutches, or similar mechanisms).
