This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant steel in the form of sheet, strip, and plate.

These products have been used typically for parts requiring uniformly high room-temperature tensile properties, oxidation resistance up to 1000 degrees F (538 degrees C), where control of ferrite content is necessary, but usage is not limited to such applications.
