Full Description

This SAE Standard provides test procedures for air, air-over-hydraulic disc or drum brakes used on highway commercial vehicles over 4536 kg (10 000 lb) GVWR. This recommended practice includes the pass/fail criteria of Standard No. 121.

To provide an FMVSS121-based performance test and a wear and performance at increasing brake temperatures for disc and drum assemblies.
