This specification has been declared “CANCELLED” by the Aerospace Materials Division, SAE, as of July, 2007. Similar but not necessarily identical products are covered by AMS 5565. However, this is provided for information only and does not constitute authority to substitute AMS 5565 for the CANCELLED specification. By this action, this document will remain listed in the Numerical Section of the Index of Aerospace Material Specifications.

This specification covers seamless and welded tubing of corrosion-resistant steel in the annealed condition.
