Full Description

This standard defines the general minimum standards for the design specifications, testing and packaging of portable oxygen breathing equipment, incorporating an integral compressed gas oxygen supply. This standard is intended to apply to that portable compressed gaseous oxygen equipment used for administration of supplementary and/or first aid to one or more occupants of either private or commercial transport aircraft.
