This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant steel in the form of bars, wire, tubing, forgings, and forging stock.

These products have been used typically for anti-friction bearing parts requiring resistance to both corrosion and wear with hardness usually not lower than 58 HRC after hardening and tempering, but usage is not limited to such application.
