Specifies the characteristics of this material for crown and screw caps intended to provide impermeable closure, and the conditions of packing. Classification is made on the basis of the behaviour under pressure which shall be determined in accordance with ISO 8507. The permissible tolerances of the diameter and thickness values determined in accordance with ISO 8507 are shown in a table.
