Scope

This standard applies to the periodic testing of diesel-generator units applied as standby power supplies in nuclear power generating stations.

Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to provide the testing criteria and requirements which resultin a periodic demonstration of availability and performance for diesel-generator units aftercompletion of their pre-operational testing.
