Full Description
Non-destructive testing is covered by visual examination and radiography. Destructive tests specified are: transverse tensile, macro-examination; side, transverse and longitudinal bend; nick-break and fillet weld fracture. An appendix gives a suggested method for preparing etched specimens.Partially replaced by BS EN 895:1995, BS EN 910:1996, BS EN 1320:1997 and BS EN 1321:1997.
