Full Description

AASHTO M 197-20 covers aluminum alloy sheets used in the fabrication of corrugated aluminum pipe intended for use for storm water drainage, underdrains, culverts, and similar uses. The material is furnished corrugated in cut lengths, and uncorrugated in coils and cut lengths.

This specification is equivalent to ASTM B 744/B 744M-05 except for including requirements from ASTM B 209M on cladding thickness, chemical composition and mechanical requirements.
